How Plays work
Every AI use has a clear Play cost.
From 1 Play for a Booth answer to 5 for a Press Box article. See your balance any time in your account.
Reading Live Wire, Pulse, Reports and Stories is included in your plan.
Plays meter creator tools like The Booth, Dossiers and Press Box. Signals uses its own add-on.
Your monthly Plays refresh at the start of each billing period. Unused included Plays do not roll over.
Top-ups expire six months after purchase.
We always spend monthly Plays first, then top-up Plays.
You can only buy or spend top-ups while you have active creator access.
Cancel, pause, or downgrade to Terrace and your top-ups get paused — still there if you come back before they expire.
Upgrades and downgrades take effect straight away. Mid-period changes recalculate your allowance from what you've already used — upgrading does not reset the period.
Paddle works out charges or credits fairly; any credit on a downgrade may apply on your next bill.
Cancel any time. You keep membership until the end of the current paid period.
